What you’ll be doing:
• Create memorable locations with strong storytelling elements to provide the best player experience possible
• Understand the game design documents and its objectives, story, narrative intention, atmospheres and style to create stellar game levels
• Understand and respect the artistic direction, consult, and find visual references pertinent to the level and insure artistic consistency
• Use the project tools and their functions, the process to update engine data and follow the project file classification system Work in collaboration with the lead artist to identify texturing and modeling needs and collaborate with modellers for asset creation
• Work with the lead artist to evaluate the workload and time estimates to produce the level while identifying priorities and meeting deadlines
• Assemble objects and textures in the level while respecting the artistic direction and gameplay elements
• Collaborate with different departments and closely with the level design team to ensure the level reaches narrative and artistic goals
• Work on optimization and debugging to fix issues raised by testers
• Create hard surface and organic 3D assets respecting the game design and artistic intention
• Respect production and optimization pipeline
• Any other related task

What we’re looking for:
• At least 3 years of experience working in the games industry with a portfolio reflecting your artistic and technical skills
• Great sense of scale, proportion, and image composition and ability to work within an established art style
• Demonstrated creativity and a keen eye for details
• Good skills in modelling for hard surface and organic
• Knowledge and experience with physically based rendering (PBR) principles
• Knowledge of Unreal engine
• Understanding of optimization
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a team
• Knowledge of terrain generation software such as Gaea or World Machine
• Ability to work within an established art style
• Originality, resourcefulness and problem solving skills
• Understanding of the workflows required to create an asset from the blockout stage to final quality, and optimization for real-time rendering
• Ability to receive feedback and guidance from the rest of the team
